As you select clothing for the session, remember that staying simple is best. Choosing items with texture will add depth to the photograph. Avoiding white is preferred, although if you choose white clothing, texture is a must. Bare feet are always welcome and for babies, nothing works better than bare skin. Feel free to bring special objects from home – costume clothing for children is always fun. Favorite toys or blankets add a special element to your photographs. Letting your child select something to bring is a helpful way to involve them in the process, allowing them to feel more at ease during the session.
