John and Brittani spent a large portion of their relationship enjoying the outdoors together. They even have dreams of visiting all of the National Parks together. While considering where to get married, the mountains of Western North Carolina made the list for their outdoor wedding. And after staying at Balsam Mountain Inn during one Christmas holiday, Brittani fell in love with the entire place. She imagined her friends and family sitting in cozy rocking chairs on oversized porches with a fresh cup of coffee to start off the morning. An afternoon filled with putting together puzzles, enjoying books from their library and listening to the rustling fire would serve as the best recipe for relaxation for everyone. “I found it absolutely beautiful and such a nice getaway from reality!” said Brittani. What a great excuse to enjoy the simpler things in life.
