Rain on your wedding day is said to bring good luck to the marriage. On this particular wedding day Mother Nature certainly bestowed her luck upon this couple! A rainstorm began abruptly just before the ceremony and ended as swiftly as it came, allowing for the outdoor ceremony to continue.
According to the old wives’ tale, rain brings luck because the knot in the phrase “tying the knot” becomes wet and harder to break, thus causing the matrimony to be stronger. Here’s to an everlasting marriage for this couple!
