Summer days in the mountains of Western North Carolina are truly spectacular. This August summer day I enjoyed a beautiful afternoon photographing a lovely bride at a wedding venue in my home town of Sylva, NC. The Vineyards at Betty’s Creek, is a must see if you haven’t yet had the pleasure and the perfect spot for a bridal portrait. From the lush grapes vines and gardens to the detailed rustic old buildings and breathtaking mountain views, it is a true delight to capture special moments in such a gorgeous setting with my clients.
Ray’s Florist and Greenhouse created this beautiful fall bouquet to mimic the bouquet Kaitlyn walked down the aisle with at her fall wedding.
Kaitlyn and I wandered through the property stopping at every turn to take advantage of all the gorgeous details. From iron gates, well maintained vineyards, the bright blooming zinnias, cone flowers and the rustic old wood and stone buildings.
Kaitlyn worked with one of our local salons, Visage Salon, for hair and make-up during this bridal portrait session.
Kaitlyn is wearing a wedding gown from the Sentimentalist, a designer and vintage bridal shop in Atlanta’s Westside neighborhood. Her gown shines through the rays of light coming down through the vineyards in the late afternoon sun. What a magical time and space to make wedding memories.
