The couple’s spring ceremony took place at the Summer Chapel, a small historic venue hidden away in the woods of Cashiers, NC. The traditional-style ceremony was succeeded by a reception at the phenomenal Canyon Kitchen  at Lonesome Valley in Cashiers, North Carolina.

The Layton’s chose to celebrate their matrimony in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. Friends and family traveled from across the United States to attend the quaint wedding.
Rebecca and Josh’s planner and designer, Shannon Berrey, added a few personal touches to the celebration’s decor. These special touches included design elements such as custom painted pillows, painted signs and menus, twig monograms and moss-covered baskets for the flower girls.

Terri Clark has a degree in commercial photography and has over fifteen years of experience. She has work on display in the Peace College permanent collection and has taught at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops. She has also been published in Weddings Unveiled Magazine and her work is on display locally at WNC Pediatrics. Terri serves all areas of Western North Carolina including Asheville, Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Cashiers, Highlands, Franklin, Cherokee, Bryson City and enjoys traveling beyond the region on request.
