Asa Zane Shirey

March was a month of staring into the eyes of a deity, this ball of pure consciousness. Pure Light. Watching a baby in the light, as it quickly changes. It was snowing. Watching snowball fights through the window from inside a toasty new space… in time. I watched my first baby, Liam, growing into a much bigger boy before my eyes. In a flash, Liam finds a new independence and does it gracefully. It was a joy watching family and friends see this little ball of life that I had the honor of carrying for forty weeks (+10 days). What joy the end of winter brought us. Spring certainly promises even a sweeter day.

Terri Clark has a degree in commercial photography and has over fifteen years of experience. She has work on display in the Peace College permanent collection and has taught at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops. She has also been published in Weddings Unveiled Magazine and her work is on display locally at WNC Pediatrics. Terri serves all areas of Western North Carolina including Asheville, Waynesville, Maggie Valley, Cashiers, Highlands, Franklin, Cherokee, Bryson City and enjoys traveling beyond the region on request.
