Balsam Banjoworks was conceived here in the Blue Ridge Mountains with a vision to provide quality banjo parts made here in the USA. They have such great talent and vision for their work. It was a privilege to photograph the founder of this business for the new website.
Capturing photos of their work for the new homepage of their website was the goal. We created a body of photographs that show the lifestyle and settings that musicians in our area enjoy while doing what they love, playing music and being in these mountains we call home.
Another part of the project was to photograph all of the banjo parts which are sold on the website. It is neat to see all the pieces that go into making such a powerful instrument.
It was great capturing moments in the landscapes that shape the music for these instruments.
