My sons, Liam and Asa, now 6 and 2 years old had such fun this spring as we explored Main Street Sylva North Carolina. I always learn so much about how a mom may feel during her child’s photo session as I photograph my own children. Even though I was making the pictures, I was still wondering if we were getting anything as the session continued. In between the moments these images were being made, the boys were being anything but cooperative and I felt defeated and unsure if it was even worth our efforts. Later, as I reviewed the images, I was completely thrilled. It is so bittersweet to watch them grow up so fast. I am grateful for these moments captured to help me remember their silliness and their baby faces, and also the brotherly love they share (most of the time) as they interact with one another.
