Jerry and Neil tied the knot in the mountains of Western North Carolina this spring at Lonesome Valley. The towns of Cashiers and Highlands, North Carolina hold a special place with them as they travelled as a couple for the first time to Highlands over ten years ago. They continued making countless memories over the years by visiting the family lake house and exploring all the hidden gems and natural beauty the area has to offer. Their wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect as they were surrounded by close friends and family, the cutest ring bearers and flower girls at their side, and their sweet pup Marty. Add a brief spring rain for good luck and you have the perfect recipe for an amazing and beautiful day this couple and their guests will remember forever!

The Oakleaf team out of Highlands, North Carolina created beautiful floral designs that paired perfectly with the complete vision Jerry and Neil had for their wedding day.

The ceremony provided a lot of excitement when the rain started coming down, but both guests and venue were able “go with the flow” and pause for the passing weather. After a brief break inside Canyon Kitchen the guests made one last move outside to experience the beautiful and emotional end to the ceremony performed by Neil’s father.

Neil and Jerry shared special dances with their mothers and were hoisted in the air on chairs while guests enjoyed the fun and joyous tradition of the hora dance. DJ Neezy kept the dance floor moving as guests of all ages danced the night away.
